How do I know which course or package I need?

Send us copies of your current certificates and tell us what work you carry out. Our team will confirm the correct training, assessment or re-assessment package before you commit to a booking.

What is the difference between initial training and re-assessment?

Re-assessment is for experienced engineers who have previously completed ACS and are renewing their certification. Initial training is for engineers gaining certification for the first time, usually following a managed learning programme.

Are certification fees included in the price?

Certification fees are included in some packages and charged separately in others. Each course page shows the additional cost information, and our team will confirm the total before your booking is finalised.

Are your prices shown including or excluding VAT?

All prices on the website are shown including VAT at 20%, so the figure you see is the figure you pay. The equivalent price excluding VAT is shown alongside where useful.

Can I add extra appliances to a re-assessment?

Yes. Additional re-assessment appliances can be added at an extra cost per appliance. Tell us which appliances you need when you enquire and we will price the package for you.

Do I pay when I book online?

No. Online booking submits a request only. A member of our team will contact you within 24 hours during office hours, Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, to confirm your place and arrange payment.

What do I need to bring with me?

Photographic ID is required on the first day, along with copies of your existing certificates where relevant. Please wear appropriate workwear and safety footwear for practical sessions.

Where is the training centre and is there parking?

We are based in Crayford, minutes from the A2 and within easy reach of the M25, with free on-site parking. Our address is Unit 4, Acorn Industrial Park, Crayford Road, Crayford, Kent DA1 4AL.

Do you deliver training for companies?

Yes. We build bespoke programmes for companies, including block bookings, combined categories and scheduling around live contracts.

What happens if I don't pass an assessment element?

Accepted Answer

Re-sits can normally be arranged at our centre at an additional cost. Your assessor will explain which areas need further work before you re-sit.
